Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by Free Public Library of Audubon in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24, naming as payee or obligee, as applicable, Free Public Library of Audubon to be applied in the event that the bidder would default on the bid or in providing the required bonds and insurance certificates. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions.
