The project requires professional design and construction services for emergency slope stabilization at the Sawnee Mountain Tank site. The scope of work involves stabilizing approximately 13,500 square feet of slope, performing grading and excavation, installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control measures as per Georgia law and BMP standards, and providing a global stability analysis stamped by a Georgia Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum factor of safety of 1.3. The contractor must construct stabilization improvements according to approved design and best practices, extend the existing retaining wall by approximately 40 feet to the west, reestablish vegetation on all disturbed areas with two applications of hydroseeding, and provide a minimum five-year warranty for both design and construction. An engineered design plan must be submitted. Instructions to bidders include demonstrating licensure to operate in Georgia, completion of at least five similar projects in the past ten years, reference verification, and proof of bonding and insurance. Proposal submissions must include a cover letter, company profile, design and work plan, fee proposal (sealed separately), project schedule, references, and licensure and insurance proof.
