The City of Charlevoix, Michigan, seeks a consultant to assist in updating its Airport Master Plan/Airport Layout Plan and Narrative Report. Consultant firms must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that demonstrates their interest and capability in providing planning services associated with the project. The SOQ should be provided in triplicate. The process follows a Quality Based Selection process, and project services will be independently negotiated. SOQ submissions must include fees or costs. The scope includes, but is not limited to, planning services related to the Airport Master Plan/Airport Layout Plan, the Narrative Report, and land acquisition consultant services necessary to acquire and maintain easements for approaches depicted in the approved airport layout plan (ALP), provided these are done by a qualified and licensed consultant. Land acquisition services for any new development or new approaches not described in this advertisement are not included and will require separate procurement. Bidders will be ranked based on familiarity with airport needs, background in aviation consulting, demonstrated experience, regulatory knowledge, and references from at least three Michigan airports. Awards or special recognition should be highlighted, and further information may be requested from selected firms. Interviews may be conducted at the sponsor's discretion. The selected firm will be subject to all state and federal requirements.
