Sealed bids, in triplicate, are requested for the Charlevoix Public Schools 2025 Bond - BP 1 - Middle/High School Tennis Courts. All proposals must be received by 2:00pm local time at 104 E. St. Mary's Dr. Charlevoix, MI 49720. Bids received after this time will not be considered. All bids will be opened and read publicly at the same location and time. Bids may be mailed to O-A-K's Traverse City Office, but must be received prior to 9:00am on the bid date. Faxed, emailed, or electronically uploaded bids will not be accepted. Each bid requires a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and any member of the District's Board of Education or the Superintendent. A construction pre-bid meeting is scheduled at Charlevoix High School, and all bidders are encouraged to attend. Bid documents are available on the Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. website and at various Builders Exchange plan rooms. Bidders must be a reputable organization with at least five years of successful experience on projects of this type and scope, be licensed if required, and have sufficient financial resources. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to secure Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for contracts exceeding $50,000, from a surety company rated A- or better, for the full contract amount.
