Reference Number 0000309277 The Qikiqtaaluk Arctic Economic Development Corporation (QAEDC) is an incorporated majority Inuit-owned Joint Venture between the Qikiqtaaluk Corporation (QC) and the Arctic Economic Development Corporation (AEDC). QC is the development arm of the Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) with headquarters in Iqaluit. AEDC is a Canadian enterprise launched to support large-scale investment and infrastructure development in Canada's Arctic. The development of the Project is one of Nunavut's Nation-Building Priorities and long-awaited infrastructure projects that will unlock economic growth and provide critical Arctic infrastructure to support sovereignty, defence, academic research, fisheries and search & rescue capabilities. In addition, the Project will enhance the annual northern sealift, provide supply chain resilience, and strengthen food security. This RFEOI seeks to clarify respondent service offerings, gather market insights, and inform procurement strategies ahead of the formal procurement phases with select respondents.
