The intent of this project is to install one (1) new all-access washroom at the Victory Building on the 7th floor in place of the old walk-in freezer near the freight elevator. Design is to consider low flow fixtures and infrared faucet. Commercial grade. Space to use LED lighting with motion sensors. Match finishes to rest of floor. Requirements for all-access washrooms are provided in a document published by Accessibility Standards Canada and CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Group - namely, CSA/ASC B651 Accessible Design for the Built Environment. Section 6.2 - Washroom Facilities and Section 6.3 - Universal Washrooms, outline standards associated with (but not limited to), minimum area allowances, luminance requirements, dimensions (heights, widths, lengths, and depths), and many other specifications.
