Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ballston Lake, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project involves the Dutch Meadows Sewer District Pump Station Upgrades for the Town of Clifton Park. The work includes providing all labor, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of tasks at the Gretel Terrace, Denkers Drive, and Settlers Lane Pump Stations. The scope of work comprises replacement of existing pump guide rails, base elbows, rail support castings, pump adapters, upper and intermediate positioning brackets, and pump discharge piping; replacement of existing level sensing instrumentation; replacement of existing pump station control panels; integration of new pump station control panels with the Towns existing SCADA system; miscellaneous electrical upgrades; and site restoration. Lump sum bids are requested for Contract 1 General Construction. All further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are contained in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to bid. Compliance with the New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule is required. Each bid must include bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid. Successful bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids without explanation. Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on materials incorporated into the project are not to be included in the bid.
