The City of Redondo Beach is looking for qualified entities to perform services as described for the specified project. Question Deadline 01/06/2026 at 5:00 PM PT All questions regarding the meaning or intent of the information provided in this RFP, including procedure, specifications, and Contract provisions, shall be submitted to the City's online procurement portal The objective of this project is to design, build, and maintain a complete, turnkey municipal fueling system that provides reliable, safe, and efficient delivery of unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel for the City's fleet operations. The upgraded facility shall meet or exceed existing fueling capacity, comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, and be designed for long-term durability and uninterrupted operation. As part of the project, the Contractor shall perform a comprehensive condition assessment of the existing fueling infrastructure-including tanks, piping, pumps, and dispensers to determine reuse feasibility and to guide the construction sequence. To maintain continuous fueling for City operations, the Contractor shall implement a phased construction plan supported by immediate temporary repairs or temporary fueling solutions whenever existing components fail or must be taken offline for assessment, permitting, or construction. These temporary measures shall ensure that all fueling services remains available throughout the duration of the project. The Contractor shall provide full design-build services, including replacement of unleaded dispensers, turbines, pumps, piping, monitoring systems, and the diesel dispenser, along with installation of all required safety, control, and compliance features. If necessary, the Contractor shall furnish temporary fueling provisions to ensure uninterrupted City fleet operations during construction. The City also seeks an extended maintenance and testing program to sustain long-term performance, maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., SCAQMD), and ensure rapid response to any operational issues throughout the system's service life.
