Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and educational facility.

Project Scope: Removal of (8) portable classroom buildings Demolition of existing tennis courts. Parking lot, landscaped fields, pickleball courts, and fencing. Repurposing existing courts for new tennis & basketball courts. Schedule: Start - March 2026 Duration - 9 Months General Requirements: This is a public works, prevailing wage project Skilled and Trained Workforce is required MEP, Solar & Sheet Metal Subcontractor Prequalification There is NO PSA/PLA for this project. There is NO OCIP for this project. Payment and Performance bonds will be required for subcontracts over $500k or at Tilden-Coil's discretion. Subcontractor / Trade Descriptions: Bids are being requested for the following trades: 01 Surveying 06 Athletic Equipment & Coatings 02 Demolition & Earthwork 07 Site Utilities 03 Site Concrete 08 Electrical & Low Voltage 04 Asphalt Paving & Striping 09 Landscaping 05 Metal Fabrications 10 Fencing Per PCC 20111.6, if not already prequalified, all MEP, Solar, and Sheet Metal subcontractors (contractors that hold C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or C-46 licenses) are required to be prequalified with Ontario-Montclair School District and must submit a prequalification questionnaire ten (10) days prior to the bid opening. Bids will not be accepted from a Subcontractor that has not been prequalified where prequalification is required. This Project is a public works project as defined in Labor Code section 1720. All subcontractors (of any tier) bidding on this Project or performing any portion of the Work must comply with the Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 and must be properly and currently registered with DIR and qualified to perform public works pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 throughout the duration of the Project. For more information and up to date requirements, contractors are recommended to periodically review the DIR's website at online. All subcontractors (of any tier) shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with Labor Code section 1725.5 as well as any requirements implemented by DIR applicable to its services or its subcontractors throughout the term of the Agreement and in no event shall contractor be granted increased payment or any time extensions to complete the Project as a result of contractor's efforts to maintain compliance with the Labor Code or any requirements implemented by the DIR. Failure to comply with these requirements shall be deemed a material breach of Agreement and grounds for termination for cause. All subcontractors (of any tier) shall furnish certified payroll records as required pursuant Labor Code section 1776 directly to the Labor Commissioner in accordance with Labor Code section 1771.4 on at least on a monthly basis (or more frequently if required by Tilden-Coil Constructors or the Labor Commissioner) and in a format prescribed by the Labor Commissioner. Tilden-Coil Constructors reserves the right to withhold contract payments if Tilden-Coil Constructors is notified, or determines as the result of its own investigation, that a Subcontractor is in violation of any of the requirements set forth in Labor Code section 1720 et seq. at no penalty or cost to Tilden-Coil Constructors or the District. Monitoring and enforcement of the prevailing wage laws and related requirements will be performed by the Labor Commissioner/ Department of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).
