Site work and paving for a civil project in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

The scope of this project includes milling and overlay work on NW Menninger Rd from Greenhill's Rd to Rochester Rd, and from Rochester Rd to Topeka Blvd. The project also includes replacement of the culvert located between NW Alice Drive and NW Rochester Road. As part of this work, the existing culvert will be replaced with twin 66-inch RCP pipes. The total project duration is eight months, and local traffic access will be maintained throughout construction. Street improvement nw menninger road - nw green hills rd to nw rochester rd; street improvement nw menninger road - nw rochester rd to nw topeka blvd; culvert replacement 14,495 sy 2" asphaltic concrete pavement, 207 sy 6" asphaltic concrete pavement, 823 tons asphaltic concrete patching, 76 lf 66" RCP, 158 lf steel guardrail, 75 lf 12" waterline. All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be provided to the office of Contracts and Procurement before the 2:00 closing date.
