Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,000-square-foot transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The MTAA is accepting design/build bids for the construction of a new maintenance shop at Philip Billard airport (3600 NE Sardou Ave, Topeka, KS) The building will be an 8000 sq. ft. single slope structure with 3 garage doors. Two of the doors should be 20'W X 14'H, and the other door should be 12'W X 14'H. It is expected that the contractor obtain all required permits for the build. All utilities must be stubbed into the building, which includes water, sewer, gas and electricity with 400 amp single phase wiring. Other requests to the build include 8" thick concrete, R30 roofing material and R19 wall insulation.
