Renovation of a communication facility in Farmington, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade communication facility.
The Federal Aviation Administration, Enroute Construction Branch, seeks to replace multiple power panels at the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center in Farmington, Minnesota. This project is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 238210 with a size standard of $19.0 million. The price range for this requirement is below $100,000. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website to be eligible for award of a contract. Offerors are cautioned to read the Request for Offer carefully and ensure all proposals conform to the requirements of Section L and M. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the website and not sent in paper copy. Contractors should periodically check the website for updates. This is a negotiated procurement that will result in a firm fixed price, one job lump sum contract, which will be awarded to a single contractor. The Contractor is to provide labor, materials, and supervision to complete work at the Minneapolis (ZMP) ARTCC in Farmington, Minnesota. All work shall be in accordance with FAA Specification, Drawings, and Wage Determinations. The Prime Contractor is responsible for all items of work identified in the attached FAA Specification provisions of the Contract as described in Section J. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to issue clarifications, interpretations, or changes to the specifications.
