The Owner invites sealed bids from licensed and experienced Contractors for a Make Up Air Unit Replacement Project located at SSCPS, 100 Longwater Cir., Norwell, MA in accordance with the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid in whole or in any part, waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject all bids if it shall be deemed in the best interest of The South Shore Charter Public School. Question Deadline 01/05/2026 GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES & CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS Two of the existing Make Up Air Units at our 100 Longwater Circle, Norwell location need to be removed and replaced. The scope is as follows: Replacement of two (2) existing Make Up Air Units (MUA); existing unit details: Unit 1: Trane 150,000 BTU MUA GRAA15PF Serial # F04F07223 Unit 2: Trane 200,000 BTU MUA GRAA20PF Serial # F04M15353 Replacement units must be of comparable size, volume, and quality. Both units should be manufactured on or after 2024. Space specifications &/or measurements should be included on the bid. Disconnecting of electrical and gas from MUA units included. Both units will be installed using the existing electrical circuit and gas pipe. New MUA units will be placed on the existing roof curb using a sealing membrane to waterproof the curb. Units must be weather tight to the curbed opening of the roof. Confirmation of direction and exact replacement of MUA units coordinated with contractor upon contract award. Reconnection of all services including air duct, gas lines, electrical and t-stats, filters, and temperatures for heat. Both units will be tested by starting and running through different stages of operation to ensure they are working properly.
