Grade and shape base (695 SY) for removal and replacement of 340 SY of 6" th. PC Concrete and 400 SY of 8" th. PC Concrete; installation of about 150 TN of limestone base; 280 LF of full depth sawcut; 260 LF of barrier curb ("tack-on" type); installation of concrete sidewalk with brick paver inlays (about 50 SY of PCC sidewalk and 155 SF of brick pavers); 2 EA TYPE VIII catch basins; 130 LF of 15" storm drain pipe; 2,400 LF of painted roadway markings; 4 EA light fixture pedestals; 400 LF of electrical conduit (3/4" -212"); miscellaneous sitework and erosion control; and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Removal and replacement of 240 SY of 8" th. PC Concrete; installation of 50 TN of limestone base; and 150 LF of full depth sawcut. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID bond payable to the OWNER for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the BONDS of all except the three lowest responsible BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed the bonds ofthe two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID BOND of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the payment BOND and performance BOND have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. A performance BOND and a payment BOND each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
