The purpose of this contract is to provide repair, installation, preventative maintenance and inspection services for Ductless Refrigerant Systems, which are advanced HVAC systems designed to provide precise temperature control by modulating refrigerant flow to multiple indoor units. Proper maintenance ensures optimal performance, energy efficiency, and system longevity. The contractor will perform all tasks in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, applicable Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs), and Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (IDOPL) standards. The contractor must have the ability to perform manufacturer specific system software updates or verify that the unit has the most current software version based on manufacturer and unit model. Sealed proposals are required and may be hand carried or mailed. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the specified hour and date. Facsimile proposals are not accepted. Solicitation information and bid proposal forms can be obtained at no cost by licensed primary contractors. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required. There will be no pre-bid walk through. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required prior to award of a contract. The cost of any single project is limited to not greater than $200,000. The winning bidder may become the agency Ductless Refrigerant Systems contractor for 1-year, renewable for 4 additional years, at the agency's option. Task Order limit for the service contracts is $200,000 per project.
