Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bayonne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
The work involves the replacement of stair treads at Kill Van Kull Gardens (12-5) and East Side Gardens (12-6B). Bidders are required to submit their sealed bids in accordance with the contract documents and any issued addenda. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the designation of the contract, bidder's name, address, and telephone number on the exterior. An original and two copies should be included. A bid bond from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company or a certified check in the specified amount must be submitted, along with a Consent of Surety, and all affidavits and documentation referred to in the instructions. The successful bidder must provide performance and maintenance bonds and adhere to all relevant New Jersey and federal regulations, wage requirements, and affirmative action rules. Compliance with business registration provisions and the submission of a Statement of Ownership are also mandatory. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty days of the opening without consent.
