The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and related resources necessary to complete construction project 656-21-114 at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. Work includes full removal and replacement of existing steam line vaults at designated locations and installation of a new steam piping infrastructure beginning at the Building 48 vault, routed through the steam tunnel and sub-basements, and terminating in Building 51. All work must comply with the Scope of Work, contract documents, NFPA standards, local building codes, VA and ASHE facility standards, industry requirements, and all other applicable regulations. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and safety construction aids required to deliver a fully functional steam system upon completion. The acquisition is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns in accordance with Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.70, and firms must be verified in the VetCert database at the time of offer and award. This requirement falls under NAICS 236220 with a $45 million small business size standard and has an estimated construction magnitude between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Performance of this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds.
