Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ponce Inlet, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will replace the existing dune walkover with a new sidewalk, ADA Parking space, Timber Dune Walkover Stairs and ADA Ramp. The existing timber walkover will be demolished, the site re-graded to accept an ADA sidewalk connecting to a new concrete ADA parking space and timber dune walkover stairs and ADA ramp to access the beach. Questions and exceptions concerning any section of this Solicitation and any attachments/exhibits shall be directed through the question and answer section of the Countys eProcurement Portal. These improvements will allow for improved access for users of the beach by removing the stairway access at the street, re-grading the site to allow wheelchair access to the park and beach area by means of an ADA stairway and ramp on the east end of the site. The parking improvement will allow for 1 concrete ADA Handicapped parking space with designated loading zone directly adjacent to the ADA timber walkover. There is an existing bench and bicycle rack that will need to be carefully removed, stored and reinstalled on the new dune walkover structure. Pre-bid- If you are attending the pre-bid meeting in person, a beach parking permit is required. If you do not have a beach parking permit, please have ready your telephone number and your plate number to provide the receptionist upon entering the building to receive parking validation for this meeting Question Submission Deadline:December 31, 2025, 11:59pm
