The Indianapolis VA Medical Center requires the purchase and installation of two industrial air compressors, specifically Ingersoll Rand RS55I, 75HP, 138 PSI Contact Cooled Rotary Screw with Total Air System or equivalent. Each unit must independently provide a minimum air demand of 335 CFM for the VA Optical Lab and be installed in tandem to ensure uninterrupted air supply. Both compressors must include integrated air-drying systems, and variable speed/rotary design is preferred but not mandatory. The project must be fully turn-key, including removal and scrapping of two existing IRN40H-CC-HV compressors, transportation and rigging of new equipment, integration and exhaust ductwork, all utility hookups or modifications, drain requirements, plumbing and material to connect or modify existing 4-inch copper air supply lines, and relocation of the existing 500-gallon air storage tank. The awarded vendor must also offer an optional preventative maintenance program for the OEM estimated life of the compressors.
