Remodeling of a clubhouse / community center in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
**As of January 13th, 2026 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Shrewsbury is seeking written quotes for interior painting services at the Shrewsbury Senior Center. All contractors must submit quotes in conformance with the request for quotes and the related scope of work statement. Pursuant to MGL ch. 149, the Town of Shrewsbury is seeking written quotes from qualified contractors for interior painting services at the Shrewsbury Senior Center located at 98 Maple Ave, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. The painting contractor shall be the prime contractor for the work required under this contract. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, vehicles, tools, insurance and incidentals to provide preparation, painting and finishing services. Work to be performed under the awarded contract must be completed by February 28, 2026. The work shall be scheduled and coordinated to work around Senior Center activities. Accordingly, work is to be completed over a weekend starting on a Friday morning at 7am and all work is to be completed by Sunday evening. The contractor must be off site for the start of normal business hours by 7am Monday morning. The Contractor shall furnish supplies and services in accordance with the scope of work statement entitled "Shrewsbury Senior Center Interior Painting." Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, vehicles, tools, insurance and incidentals to provide preparation, painting and finishing services at the Shrewsbury Senior Center located at 98 Maple Ave. in Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Assistant to the Town Manager-Procurement, Jeff Goodwin, via email at jgoodwin@shrewsburyma.gov by December 26, 2025 at 11:00 am.
