Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a two-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Demolish 11 modulars and two buildings. Construction of (1) admin building 100, (1) UTK/Kinder classroom building 200, and (1) 2-story classroom building 500. Alterations to Classroom building 300 (formerly bldg. 100), and multi-purpose building 600 (formerly bldg. 300). New finishes, fire alarm, technology, and electrical. Limited alteration to library building 400 (formerly bldg. 500) with new fire alarm, signage and exterior paint. New hardscape, asphalt paving, planting and irrigation. New playground shade structure and PV canopy. Question Deadline 12/29/2025 Submit RFIs via email to Cole Edging at cedging@cwdriver.com . Final addendum including RFI responses will be issued on January 8, 2026. Bidders must possess the required California State Contractors License(s) for each bid package. Bidders are required to self-perform a minimum of 15% of each bid package bid. Bids are to be submitted per package, and bidders may not combine packages for multiple GMPs in a single submission. All bids must be in accordance with all bid documents, plans, and specifications. Prequalification is required for certain trades, and payment and performance bonds are required. The project is subject to prevailing wage, Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA), and a minimum 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation. Bidders must also comply with specific proprietary specifications for select materials and equipment. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder by package or combination of packages. Comply with all site safety, conduct, and DIR registration requirements. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 120 days after the date set for the opening of bids.
