Davidson County Southmont Community Center Concession Buildings & Maintenance Facility The scope of work includes new construction of Five (5) Concession Buildings that consist of 4 Family Restrooms, Chase, and Concession Space in Lexington, NC. All concession stands are identical in design, for any and all associated site work, see Civil Plans. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Bid contract and all proposals will be lump sum. Contractors must have the proper license as required under state laws governing their respective trades. General contractors must have a license classification for "building contractor" or "unclassified" as required by the NC General Contractors Licensing Board. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or a bid bond of five percent (5%) executed by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina. The deposit will be retained as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract within ten days after the award or to give satisfactory surety as required by law. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates with the final payment upon completion and acceptance of the work. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Question Deadline 01/23/2026 All requests for Addenda or Interpretations shall be in written form and shall be received by the Architect at least five (5) days prior to the bid opening. All RFI requests are due by end of day on the January 25, 2026.
