Cold Mix Asphalt - Material: Aggregate must conform to the 2015 Standard Specifications, State of California, Department of Transportation, for type A Asphalt Concrete 1/2” gradation. Liquid asphalt binder shall be SC-800. Upon delivery, the contractor must furnish a certificate of compliance showing materials meet specification requirements. Material not meeting specifications must be replaced at the contractor's expense, and no payment will be made for used material that fails tests. Goods must be delivered to Furnace Creek Road, Tecopa, CA 92389 between April 01, 2026 and May 15, 2026. Delivery dates may be adjusted based on the proposal process timeline. Prices must be for delivered material, split into the quantities listed, each to be delivered to Tecopa mixing tables as specified. Coordination with Inyo County Road Department is required after award for product delivery. All prices quoted must remain valid for 60 days after the submission deadline. The County will evaluate all submissions based on overall value, considering both price and quality. The lowest bid is not automatically selected. A vendor questionnaire must be completed addressing employment or business relationships with Inyo County and eligibility for local/small business preferences. Vendors must procure and maintain insurance coverage during the contract, including Commercial General Liability not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence, and provide certificates and endorsements prior to commencing work. Inyo County must be named as an additional insured on required policies.
