Up to five cycles of right-of-way mowing on approximately 520 miles of County roadway and three cycles of right-of-way mowing on approximately 20.9 miles of four lane State divided highways, including furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment for mowing complete, tree/brush/slope trimming, and litter pickup. Includes up to four cycles of non-growing season litter pickup on 520 miles of County roadways and up to four cycles of non-growing season litter pickup on 20.9 miles of four lane State divided highways. Bidders must provide valid proof of insurance, a list of three references for similar work (excluding the owner), a list of equipment to be used, and must be able to bond 100% of the bid cost through a qualified surety company. Each bid must include a bid bond equal to five percent of the total contract amount or a certified/cashier’s check in the same amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds meeting contract requirements. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds, and be licensed to do business in the State of Georgia. Bidders must provide a list of sub-contractors, but must perform 70% or more of the project without subcontractors. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to re-advertise. The contract may be awarded as a whole or in parts to one or more successful bidders.
