Site work for a communication facility in Olathe, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
Question Deadline 12/17/2025 at 12:00 PM CT questions must be submitted electronically utilizing the electronic bidding system. The job wil consist of running six (6) 50 ohm coax cables, three (3) fiber optic cables, and one (1) rotor cable from the EOC radio room to the roof of the administrative building. Adequate lightning protection for each run should be included. The COAX should be equal in loss to LMR 400 or better. The cable runs wil begin in the basement of Emergency Operations Center - Radio Room and wil run in a drop ceiling horizontaly for roughly 80 ft, before running vertica ly to the penthouse. From the penthouse the coax and rotator cables wil run to the roof and capped or connected to an antenna to be determined by the emergency management POC. The fiber runs wil need media connectors to Cat 6 on both ends. The administration building consists of a basement where the EOC is located, three occupied floors, a machinery penthouse, and a flat roof where these antennas are located
