Sealed bids are requested for flooring repair and replacement at various sites. Bids must be submitted with a bid security of not less than ten percent of the Total Bid Price. A pre-bid job walk will be held to help bidders familiarize themselves with the work sites; attendance is highly encouraged but not required. Each bid submission must include the required security, a non-collusion declaration, a list of proposed subcontractors, and all other required documentation. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the successful bid amount, from a surety that meets state bonding requirements. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage laws, be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and hold a C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering contractor's license. The District may designate specific materials or brands in the project specifications. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities or informalities in the bids or bidding process.
