Questions Deadline : 01/29/2026 4:00 PM Questions are to be submitted by e-mail to duarteshawk@cajonvalley.net , (reference Bid # 1689 in the subject ) DVBE (3%) Beginning Date of Contract: June 20, 2026 Ending Date of Contract: August 8, 2026 The Work consists of any and all labor, materials, goods, supplies, equipment, tools, utilities, temporary facilities, transportation, delivery services, and other services and things of any nature whatsoever as are expressly and impliedly necessary to timely and satisfactorily complete the Project: in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work consists generally of the following: Repair, replacement or new installation of concrete work as needed for safety hazard mitigation, ADA upgrades, water reduction remediation, and additions to areas required by educational use changes at the District sites. A. The following items will require a minimum 4" thickness and 2500 p.s.i. at 28 days. It will also require a 1" bed of sand under all concrete and finish to industry standards. a. Flat work b. Mow curb B. The following items will require a minimum 6" thickness and 3250 p.s.i. at 28 days. It will also require 6" of Class ll base under all concrete and finish to industry standards. a. Portland Concrete Cement (PCC) Paving b. Driveways c. Gutters C. The following items will require a minimum of 3250 p.s.i. at 28 days and should follow San Diego Regional Standards. a. 6" curb Type G1 b. Curb and Gutter Type G2 D. Concrete cutting must include cleanup and removal of all spoils and waste. E. All associated cost for removal of materials offsite to a legal dumpsite will be the responsibility of the contractor. This will include but limited to all labor, equipment, tools, clean up, and fees required for an complete operation that is ready for staff and student return. F. Work will be required to be done during non-school hours and/or school breaks. All bidders must account for this in their bids. G. All new or replaced concrete sidewalk areas that meet adjacent existing concrete will require a 2" deep key under the existing concrete. No dowels into existing concrete sidewalk will be required. H. Joints in concrete must match existing and continue through new areas. Sidewalks longer than 60' in length or completely surrounded by existing concrete and exceeding 200sf will require an expansion joint. I.
