Renovation of an educational facility in El Cajon, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The scope of work includes the furnish and installation of the Work, including, without limitation, providing and furnishing any and all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary to complete, in a workmanlike manner in accordance with the Contract Documents, all of the Work to include but not limited to: 1.1. Relocation of existing boulders, installation of new gates, installation of new boulders to secure the Grossmont and Cuyamaca entrances. Question Deadline 12/10/2025 at 4:00 PM PT All questions shall be submitted via online. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of the proposed price for any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. Bid Security shall be submitted as follows: 6.1. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Check. If the Bidder's Bid Security is in the form of cash, cashiers/certified check, the cash proceeds or cashiers/certified check must be submitted and received by the District's Purchasing and Contracts Department before the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Check Bid Security received by the Purchasing and Contracts Department after the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals may result in rejection of the Bidder's Bid Proposal for non-responsiveness. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Bid Security must be mailed with tracking to the Purchasing and Contracts Department in a sealed envelope with the exterior prominently marked with the Bidder's name and Project name and bid number. The Purchasing and Contracts Department address is: Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District Attention: Purchasing and Contracts Department 8800 Grossmont College Drive, Building 80 El Cajon, CA 92020. Contractors' License Classification. Pursuant to California Public Contract Code 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Contract for the Work is awarded: B - General Building. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law. No payment shall be made for work, labor, materials or services provided under the Contract for the Work unless and until the Registrar of Contractors verifies to the District that the Bidder awarded the Contract is properly and duly licensed to perform the Work. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. (PROJECT VALUE $75,000 to $220,000)
