This work includes but is not limited to: Repair of a roof basin Redevelopment (relocation of walls, services, etc.) of 4 classes and adjacent corridors. Wall painting of targeted premises Addition of reinforcement to the structure and related fireproofing work Replacement of intercom speakers Replacement of the air conditioning system at the administration Ventilation, lighting and suspended ceiling replacement work at targeted locations on the ground floor Certain decontamination work for materials containing asbestos Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond representing 10% of the total bid amount excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque made payable to the Centre de services scolaire des Draveurs, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q., c. A-32) authorising it to engage in surety insurance, a trust company holding a licence issued under the Trust and Savings Companies Act (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), valid for a period of 45 days from the date of opening of tenders, failing which the tender will be automatically rejected. This tender bond must be exchanged upon signing the contract for a performance bond and a bond guaranteeing obligations for wages, materials and services. When these bonds are in the form of a surety bond issued by one of the above-authorised institutions, the amount of each bond shall be 50% of the contract price, and when they are in the form of a certified cheque, the amount of each bond shall be 10% of the contract price.
