The City is seeking contractors To remove and replace windows in a three story office building. for combined office suite in a city owned facility. Job Scope: o Completely remove existing windows. o Dispose of existing windows, frames and other materials o Furnish and install 12 Kawneer 1600 Curtainwall o 48 Kawneer Vents with Screens o 96 Steel Wind Load/Dead Load Clips to Secure Curtainwall o Furnish and install 48 pieces of 1-inch tempered insulated glass with blue spandrel. o Furnish and install 96 pieces of 1-inch clear w/ Solarban 60 HS Glass o Furnish and install all nuts, bolts and washers needed for steel clips o Furnish and install any brake metal needed at the sills, heads or interior walls that touch the curtainwalls o DOW 795 Caulking o Demo and Disposal of Old Glass o Include a minimum manufacturer's twenty (20) year full (non-prorated) warranty and a minimum two (2) year installation warranty. o Clean job site of all work-related debris. o Put window fixtures back to previous condition Job Requirements: o Man-Lift Rental o Bids shall meet or exceed all industry standards when performing this work. o The existing windows should be studied carefully in the pre-bid walkthrough and duplicated. o At least 3 government contracts to ensure contractor is prepared to delay or adjust to the working environment minimal notice o Department requires at least 75% of the work be performed by the Prime contractor's workforce o Working Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM o Contractor is responsible to shift furniture, cabinets, and shelving to install units. Contractor is responsible for moving all furniture, cabinets, and shelving back to its original location.
