The general nature of the work includes routine tree trimming work within the Skamania PUD service area. The Contract for tree trimming services shall include labor and equipment for (1) three-person crew for a term of 1 year, with the option of two 1-year extensions. The crew will be part time (approximately 14 weeks/year). The equipment shall include but is not limited to one lift truck/chip combination truck with 75' working height, one WSDOT TCS certified flagging crew, one woodchipper (6" diameter chipping capacity), one four-wheel drive pickup, and small miscellaneous equipment per Skamania PUD specification. The PUD reserves the right to waive minor informalities or irregularities in the bidding, accept the lowest responsible bid, reject any or all bids, or republish the call for bids. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the PUD.
