The scope of work consists of the replacement of two vacuum prime wastewater pumping stations, including new suction and discharge piping and supports, and miscellaneous appurtenances. Bids must be submitted for a single prime contract, on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. Each bidder must deposit bid security in the required amount, form, and subject to conditions found in the Information for Bidders. All bidders are required to comply with Local, State, and Federal regulations as stated in the bid documents and must meet requirements such as Presidents Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity), Subpart C of 2 CFR Part 180 and 2 CFR Part 1532 regarding transactions, and the Anti-Lobbying Act Section 319 of Public Law 101-121. Contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers appearing on the Excluded Parties List System are ineligible for award. Federal prevailing wage rates apply. The project is also subject to the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, requiring all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project to be produced in the United States, with supporting documentation required. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and/or reject all bids.
