Question Deadline 01/16/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Any and all communication regarding this Solicitation shall be on the Kent County Purchasing Division SCOPE Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by Respondent. Kent County will award and contract for the goods and services in this Solicitation in an efficient and timely manner. In no event will notification of award be more than 45 days from the date of submission. Kent County will evaluate responsive submissions for both all-inclusive project cost and by individual line item. Kent County reserves the right to award to multiple Respondents, one Respondent for the entire project, or reject any or all submissions. Kent County, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to weigh any and all factors in the decision and award to the Respondent(s) deemed most advantageous to Kent County. All materials and methods of construction related to work performed on this project must comply with locally adopted code requirements and must meet with the approval of local code enforcement officials. Contractor shall obtain, pay for and post on site all permits and licenses necessary to complete this project. Contractor and subcontractors must have current Michigan Residential Builders License, trade specific license or certifications as required by the State, County and/or local government. A copy of contractor license(s) and/or certifications necessary to complete this project to be provided with Bid Response or previously on file with Kent County to be considered. The Kent County Purchasing Division is solici_ng bids for Residen_al Asbestos Abatement Services at 225 Ann St, Cedar Springs, MI 49319. This solicitation includes asbestos abatement activities and may require an asbestos clearance report for impacted work area(s) following completion of activities to determine that all asbestos abatement activities are complete, and that friable asbestos no longer exist in work area. This project includes removal of material that is known or presumed to include asbestos. To submit a response to remove or encapsulate friable asbestos when the quantity of material is estimated at more than 160 square feet or 260 linear feet of friable asbestos-containing materials, respondent must be licensed by the State of Michigan Asbestos Program to engage in any asbestos abatement activities.
