Site work for a civil project in Cedar Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work covered by the Contract Documents consists of replacement of the Wynwood Lift Station, located at 99 1 st Street S and improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 251 Spring Street NW and 2211 Rusco Street NW. All project sites are in the Village of Kent City, located in Kent County, Michigan. Included in this work is furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, activities and related costs necessary for completing the improvements. Work includes but is not limited to: The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of Wynwood Lift Station, including: Demolition of existing duplex submersible lift station Construction of complete duplex submersible lift station, including wet well, valve chamber, sanitary sewer, force main, bypass connection, permanent standby generator, pumps, piping, valves, electrical, controls, and instrumentation Improvements to Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), including: Demolition of six (6) existing control structures Demolition of sixteen (16) existing gates Demolition (removal or flow fill) of approximately 1,940 feet of transfer piping Installation of six (6) control structures Installation of nineteen (19) gate valves and one (1) slide gate in control structures Installation of approximately 2,060 feet of transfer piping Restoration of pond berms where disturbed, including repair of clay seal and replacement of stone slope protection Construction of approximately 2,000 feet of pond perimeter 8-foot wide gravel access drive Construction of Screening Building, including screening system, process piping, force main, water supply well, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, controls, and instrumentation Also included is all associated dewatering, pumping and hauling, bypass pumping, equipment, site work, restoration, and all related work. Contractor shall furnish adequate material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work, which also includes testing, inspection, and placing the proposed facilities into operation.
