The City of Parkland, Florida (City) is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, insured and experienced Contractors to provide installation and integration of an audio-visual (AV) system in the new Parkland Community Center at Wedge Preserve Park. Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment and necessary essentials for the completion of this contract, in the manner specified in this solicitation, in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of services, specifications and requirements of this competitive solicitation. The City is constructing a new Community Center at Wedge Preserve Park. As part of this new building, the City requires a fully integrated audio-visual (AV) system to support presentations, announcements, background music, events, and multimedia playback in the Ballroom, circulation areas, patio, porte-cochere, and associated support spaces. This Scope of Work (SOW) covers the furnish, installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of a complete AV system as defined by the AV engineering drawings and details prepared for Wedge Preserve Park, including all Community Center AV spaces and associated rooms. The Proposals shall be delivered and addressed to the City of Parkland, Attn: City Clerk's Office, 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067 and shall be labeled "SEALED PROPOSALS FOR ______________ RFP-____). Complete specifications may be obtained on the City website at www.cityofparkland.org or from the City Clerk's office at City Hall. Any Proposer who wishes his proposal to be considered is responsible for making certain that his proposal is received in the City by the proper time. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic Proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. Proposals received after the scheduled Proposal Submittal Deadline will be returned unopened. It is the responsibility of the proposer to see that any proposal submitted shall have sufficient time to be received by the City before the proposal Submittal Deadline.
