Improvement of the streetscape and infrastructure along a portion of High Street in downtown Sutton. Improvements include sidewalks & street configuration to enhance pedestrian boulevard use, street furniture, trees, lighting, parking, creation of a multi-purpose pop up zone for events, community entrance feature to High Street from Hwy 48 & relocation of overhead power lines. Infrastructure improvements including watermains & water supply connections, stormwater management ewers & appurtenances & road construction. TIMELINE: Phase 1 tender for construction will be issued spring 2026, while phase 2 will be tendered in 2027. Updates may be available fall 2026.
