The project generally consists of the installation of approximately 1,215 linear feet of 8-inch diameter C900 PVC water main, appurtenances, and incidental work along S. Croatan Highway near the Driftwood Street intersection in Nags Head, North Carolina. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum price basis. All Contractors submitting bids shall possess a valid North Carolina Contractors License and may be required to provide evidence of qualifications and experience sufficient for the successful accomplishment of a project of this nature and size within the required timeframe. For bid amounts exceeding $300,000, Construction Payment and Construction Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount are required. Bidders are encouraged to recruit HUB participation for construction projects, and each bidder shall not discriminate on any basis prohibited by applicable Federal or State law in employment or provision of services. The selected bidder shall certify there is no conflict of interest and that no contingent fees have been paid for soliciting or securing the contract. All bids must be submitted on the provided bid form with all required information included as specified.
