Site work for a water / sewer project in Forestport, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work includes the construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades, specifically the installation of two gravity filter beds with associated PVC piping, fittings, concrete splash pads, liner, pea gravel, weep basins, filter sand, and two pressure dosing filter beds with PVC piping, force main, fittings, liner, leaching chambers, distributor manhole, pea gravel, filter sand, and a diversion manhole with frame/cover, pressure dosing lift station; sewage lift station improvements, piping, manhole upgrades, precast concrete chlorine contact tanks with frame/cover; demolition/removal of existing filter beds including filter material, liner, piping, equipment and appurtenances; access drive, site work, bypass pumping, and miscellaneous work. The electrical contract covers the upgrade of the electric service entrance to the Administration Building, removal of existing main distribution panel and manual transfer switch, installation of a new main distribution panel, new propane generator, new automatic transfer switch, electric service to new equipment pedestal and Pressure Dosing Lift Station, control panel and pump(s) disconnects, site lighting, restoration, and miscellaneous work. Additive bids include building improvements, sewage lift station improvements, and building electrical improvements. Bids are solicited for both plant upgrade and electrical contracts.
