Remodeling of existing restrooms in the Independence Child Development Building. The project consists of miscellaneous remodeling work at 535 G Street, Independence, Oregon. Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the requirements and procedures prescribed. Vendors shall use recyclable products to the maximum extent economically feasible in the performance of the contract work. The scope of work is to be understood in detail during a mandatory pre-bid conference at the project site. No bid will be considered unless completed as provided in the instructions to bidders and accompanied by the required bid bond or check. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and labor & material bond for the full contract amount and comply with all prevailing wage and workers compensation regulations. Bidders must be certified/registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, submit a non-collusion affidavit, and provide documentation of responsibility as outlined in state requirements. Only bids from contractors who attend the mandatory pre-bid conference will be eligible for consideration. OCDC reserves the right to waive informalities, accept the best bid, or reject any or all bids in its best interest.
