Project no-1708-T-020 Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM REMINGTON, VERNICK ENGINEERS DIRECTLY Sealed bids will be received for the FY 2024 NJDOT Local Aid Infrastructure Fund Resurfacing of Penn Street (Phase V) in the Borough of Penns Grove, Salem County, New Jersey. Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available through Remington & Vernick Engineers, to be obtained electronically upon payment. No bids are to be picked up at the engineer's or municipality offices, and payment is required prior to receiving specifications. All bids must use the bid form provided by Remington and Vernick Engineers, submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and reference to the particular work bid upon. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but not exceeding $20,000.00 of the bid amount, as well as a certificate letter from a surety company stating it will provide the bidder with a completion bond. The award of the contract is subject to the necessary funds being provided and obtaining all required State, Federal, or Local permits. Bidders must comply with requirements including N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., the Americans with Disabilities Act, and must submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders, proof of business registration, and proof of registration for any subcontractors as required by law. The Borough reserves the right to consider bids for sixty days, reject any or all bids, and waive informalities as deemed in the Borough's best interest.
