Site work and new construction of an office development in Heidelberg, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade office development.
This project involves one site within the East Jasper Consolidated School District, located at 921 Maple Avenue, the site of the former preschool building. The scope of work includes the construction of a new Central Office building, along with a new parking lot, security fencing, and the installation of a new electronic monument sign on the site. Bid proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope, marked plainly on the outside with the required project and bidder information or may be submitted electronically through the specified website. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bids must be prepared in compliance with the instructions to bidders, and bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed and able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled and prospective prime bidders are requested to attend. Printed procurement and contracting documents can be obtained by registering at the specified website.
