Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The Contractor is granted the sole and exclusive right, to the extent provided for in the contract specifications, within the geographical area as described in the contract specifications and shall furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, trucks and all other items necessary to provide for the services listed below and to perform all of the work called for and described in the Contract Documents pertaining to those services for the continuous collection, transportation and disposal of garbage/rubbish/refuse and recyclables and one annual trash pickup and E-Waste collection each year in the Borough of Westmont. Sealed proposals or bids are invited for a five (5) year contract for the collection and disposal of garbage, refuse, rubbish, and ashes produced by residential households, utilizing 95-gallon or 35-gallon carts or their equivalent and fully automated side load trucks. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by Westmont Borough and be accompanied by a certified check, treasurer's check, or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the estimated annual revenues. The Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or technicalities, and accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of Westmont Borough regardless of price. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
