As of January 21, 2025, the project was awarded to: BCIV Trenching and Utility Installation, LLC - $423,740.00 and Tresco Paving Corporation - $151,800.00 with total awarded amount of $575, 540. The scope of work includes two contracts: - Contract A consists of the installation of approximately 2,050 lineal feet of 6" C900 PVC DR14 waterline and appurtenances including valves, fire hydrant installation, water service line re-connections, and all temporary and permanent surface restoration including lawn, concrete sidewalk, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. - Contract B consists of roadway surface restoration and paving. The work includes milling of 3,500 square yards of existing pavement, placement of 150 tons of 3/4" scratch, paving of 3,500 square yards of 9.5MM wearing course (1.5" depth), base repair, and all necessary traffic control and driveway access, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit from QuestCDN. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Borough and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, and for contracts exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employment Verification Act apply. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
