Furnishing all plant, labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, utilities and all other items and facilities necessary therefore, as provided in the Contract Documents. In accordance with the provisions of the California Public Contract Code Section 3300, the Agency has determined that the Contractor shall be required to possess a valid California Class C-33 (Paint and Decorating) Contractors License at the time that the Contract is awarded, and shall maintain said license(s) in good standing at all times during performance of the Work. All Work shall be completed in every detail to the satisfaction of the Agency within 40 working days after the date of the NOTICE TO PROCEED. The Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued in February 2026. Question Submission Deadline: January 2, 2026, 4:00pm The Work generally consists of: Sanding, paint prep, coating, painting, and clean up. Bid Item 1 - Mobilization & Demobilization (5% maximum of Total Base Bid): Bid item shall include full compensation for all bonds, insurance, sureties, licenses, permits, facilities, labor, equipment and material necessary to complete all work required in advance of construction operations, and upon the initiation of construction operations, to mobilize all required equipment, materials and personnel on-site, and complete all associated and appurtenant work in accordance with the Standard Specifications, the Supplementary General Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer. The Bid Item shall also include all labor, equipment and material required to clean-up and restore the site, demobilize, and remove all equipment, materials, and staging, and complete all work required at the end of construction operations in accordance with the Standard Specifications, the Supplementary General Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer. The lump sum price for this item shall not exceed 5% of the total contract price (5% maximum of Total Base Bid). Bid Item 2, Unforeseen Field Conditions (stipulated amount): Bid item shall include full compensation for all labor, equipment and material required to repair, construct, rehabilitate, remove, dispose, relocate, adjust any necessary and unforeseen site feature, utility infrastructure, surface improvements, or unsuitable soil condition, as directed by the Engineer, according to these specifications. No additional compensation will be made. This Bid Item is not subject to Section 3 Changes In Work, and no payment will be made unless the Engineer provides a written Notice to Proceed, or written approval for this bid item. No part of this incentive will be paid for work completed after 30 working days of the notice to proceed. A.
