Site work for a multi-residential development in Leechburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade multi-residential development.

This project consists of replacing concrete sidewalks and exterior stairs and includes minor earthwork and installation of new metal handrails and guardrails. The project is subject to federal prevailing wage rates; the minimum wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid. Bids are subject to applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Documents required for bidding are distributed by Ditto upon payment. Free examination of documents is available at the office of Canzian/Johnston & Associates LLC and Pennsylvania Builders Exchange. Bids must be on the prescribed forms, submitted in a sealed envelope, labeled with the project name and delivered to the Housing Authority office to the attention of the Executive Director. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid must be submitted with the bid and is subject to the conditions of Paragraph 9 of the Instructions to Bidders. A bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the Bidder within 60 days following date and time designated for the receipt of Bids without the consent of the Housing Authority. All applicable Equal Employment Opportunity requirements for federally assisted contracts must be complied with, including compliance with relevant Executive Orders and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The successful bidder must, to the greatest extent feasible, use project-area businesses located in or owned in substantial part by local residents and direct newly created employment opportunities to Section 3 residents. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding, and to consider the competency and responsibility of the Bidders in awarding the contract.
