The project consists of milling and paving of the current basketball and tennis courts at Gilpin-Leechburg Park. Instructions to bidders: - Sealed bids are to be submitted on the forms provided by Gilpin Township, with three copies required. - Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to Gilpin Township. - All bid envelopes must be clearly marked "GILPIN-LEECHBURG PARK PROJECT PHASE I." - Bidders must comply with all requirements of Pennsylvania Act 127 of 2012, the Public Works Employment Verification Act. - All work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contractors are encouraged to bid, and bidders are encouraged to consider DBE subcontractors and suppliers. - Bidders are encouraged to provide a single point of contact for communication during the bidding process. - Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the project site is required. - The township reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids for any reason.
