Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Alvin, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of an educational facility.

Under the guidelines of Texas School Law, any item(s) or services purchased with regards to a total aggregate in any given category over $50,000 will be competitively bid. Contracted Service Providers will be used on an as needed basis throughout the District to provide services to students and staff. This is a non-exclusive award, meaning multiple vendors may be designated as vendors for the services covered under the contract for the duration of said contract, and there is no guarantee that a vendor will be utilized for all or any of the services or products in which the vendor proposed. The contract term is one year, with the option to renew for an additional two-year term if all parties agree. The list of services includes, but is not limited to: building security, consulting and training for cheer and team building, personnel health wellness, insurance consulting, traffic consulting, weather support, decorations and event planning, fine arts services, instructional training, landscape consulting, maintenance and repairs, accounting, student incentives, data processing, computer programming, software services, educational training, vehicle maintenance, transportation, photography, security, staff development, translation, special education services, occupational and physical therapy, nursing, vaccination programs, and various others as outlined in the commodity codes. Any services that require materials or products must be connected to a service performed. All purchases will be made under the Districts Standardized Terms and Conditions. Instructions to bidders include: submission of original signed documentation to Purchasing for consideration, completion and return of all required forms and questionnaires prior to services being performed, ensuring the contract is properly authorized before performing services or submitting invoices, and compliance with all procedures detailed in the Districts Standardized Terms and Conditions. Contractors in contact with students must be fingerprinted, and the cost is the responsibility of the contractor. Incomplete documents will be returned and delay processing of the agreement. Duplicate proposals during the same contract period will not be accepted unless there are changes in pricing or services.
