The District of Ucluelet is inviting proposals from qualified and experienced design-build contractors for the design and construction of the Ucluelet Skatepark Expansion. Community-engaged design & construction of a street/plaza-style skatepark addition that integrates with the existing bowl facility. Includes site review, at least two public design workshops, full design-build services (concrete features, grading, drainage, safety), construction & finishing, as-builts, and maintenance guidance. Preferred features list includes hip, pyramid, bank-to-ledge, long low ledge/manual pad, China Bank with ledge, brick-stamped quarter, bank to curb, quarter to bank, noping quarterpipe (3-3.5'), small spine (2-2.5'), jersey barriers, and an approx. 3-3.5' concrete mini-ramp (space/budget permitting).
