Renovation of an educational facility in Ezel, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Installing a new low slope standing seam metal roof over existing roof for Morgan Central Elementary (base bid) and Ezell Elementary School (add alternate #1). Sealed, written formal bid proposals will be received by the Board of Education of the Morgan County Board of Education. All contractors who intend to submit bids are required to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. The successful bidder will be allowed 180 calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the base bid project and an additional 90 calendar days if Add Alternate #1 is accepted. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Kentucky. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Kentucky, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
