Renovation of an educational facility in Ezel, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed, written formal bid proposals are requested for an exterior veneer repair and replacement project at Ezel Elementary and Morgan Central Elementary. Bids must be received by the Board of Education at the specified address. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or withhold acceptance for forty-five calendar days. Bid documents are available electronically. All contractors who intend to submit bids are encouraged to attend a nonmandatory pre-bid conference. The successful bidder will have ninety calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete. All bids must include bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or a Bid Bond from a company licensed to do business in Kentucky. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond from a company licensed to do business in Kentucky, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
